So, a time agent walks into a bar...
You expect a punch line? This one doesn't start a fight, she looks like she's finished one though. Black eye appearing, split lip and fingers taped together. She'll laugh it off as a good night. She just asks for ice, for her lip.

"I have a place," he said softly. "You still have your ship, then we can go on a little trip. Perfect to hide out for a while."

He gently reached around her, pressing a few buttons on his wriststrap. Within moments, they were gone from the bar, instead standing just outside of her ship. "Not bad," he murmured, carrying her onto the ship and then gently setting her down on her feet.
"So, where haven't you been lately?"

Walking over to the console, he sat down, gently rubbing the panel with his fingers. "Hello girl. I don't think we've met yet. I'm Jack." The lights in the ship flickered a little and he smiled. "Yes, I'm a friend of Lyssa's."

"Get on with it." She told the ship. "And Jack, what the hell, you saying hello used to end up in bed with whoever you said it to."

"I'm curious to know where we're going." Not that she cared if he told her or not.

He stood up and moved over to sit beside her. "Why should I tell you," he said softly, smiling at her. He ws teasing. He'd tell her. He'd do anything he could for her.

"Because you need someone to worry about you." She told him straight.
no subject
"Why?" He looked at her straight in return. "Why should anyone want to bother with me."

"See, I'm even getting all sappy."

Before she could stop him, he reached out and dropped a piece down her shirt.
